Annie Lennox
Annie Lennox was born in Aberdeen Scotland on December 25 1954. Dorothy Farquharson is her mother as is Thomas Allison Lennox, father. Lennox was a student at her studies at the Royal Academy of Music, London in the 1970s. She was a harpsichord student as well as the flautist piano for three years. The budget of her was augmented with a student stipend as well as part-time employment. Lennox as she was studying at the Royal Academy of Music in London, was unhappy in her performance when compared to that of the other students. She began considering alternatives. Lennox became part of the group Dragons Playground as the flute player in 1976. The group broke up before they appeared in I.T.V's talents show New Faces. She sang lead to The Tourists (a British popband) between 1977 and 1980. It was here that she met Dave Stewart and together they created the duo Eurythmics. Lennox began work on Diva in 1992. It was her debut album as a solo artist. Commercially and critically it was a huge success. Nostalgia Lennox's sixth solo album came out in November of 2014. The C.D. Lennox compiled her top soul jazz blues tracks from the time of her childhood. Lepidoptera is a collection of four tracks that she improvised for piano, which Lennox made available in May 2019. The E.P. The E.P. is her first independent album and a companion to her art work designed at the Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art named Now I Let You go... Annie Lennox was born in 1954 on December 25. She is a social activist, philanthropist as well as a singer. The Tourists had a minor success in the late 1970s. Lennox and Dave Stewart, a fellow musician, would go on to gain international recognition in the 1990s when they formed the Eurythmics.
